What is Endorsement?

The Skills Academy Endorsement Framework offers you a unique way to demonstrate your commitment to exemplary learning and development. It’s a unique quality mark to differentiate you or your organisation in a crowded marketplace.

Two stages

There are two stages to the Endorsement Framework:
  • Recognition Award: Recognised providers demonstrate that they take a professional approach to learning and development in adult social care.
  • Excellence Award: Providers who are ‘Centres of Excellence’ demonstrate exemplary commitment to meeting the needs of learners in adult social care, to compliance with the social model of care and to understanding and measuring the impact of their provision on the lives of the people who use services.

The Benefits

With endorsement from the Skills Academy, your organisation will be listed on this website with other Recognised Providers or Centres of Excellence.

Employers and learners can search and contact our list of recognised providers to access training. You will also have access to our marketing materials, putting you in front of employers looking for quality social care training.

You will also receive a certificate and can use the Skills Academy ‘Recognised Provider’ or ‘Excellent Provider’ quality mark in your marketing materials.

What’s involved

The endorsement process is:
  • An assessement of your application, based on peer review and evaluation (find out more about the review panel).
