The Registered Managers’ Programme is intended to further equip Registered Managers to meet the challenges you face on a daily basis. 

To help reduce issues of professional isolation by offering network opportunities at both local and national levels and to support you to fully recognise your pivotal leadership role.

Joining the Registered Managers’ Programme costs just £35 annually with benefits including:

  • Funding available, up to £1,500, to set up and run local networks of support.
  • Access to free HR, legal and peer support help lines. Confidential and staffed by professionals in each area.
  • Over 200 electronic resources – and growing, catalogued online and organised by subject area for convenience. This is designed to save you time.
  • Regular updates on events and workshops. We currently have 40 local networks across England that Registered Manager members of the Academy are welcome to come along to – for free
  • Registered Managers Noticeboard
  • Our LinkedIn discussion pages; exclusive to members of the programme. A great opportunity to network amongst peers.
  • The Registered Managers’ Member logo to use on communications materials; suggested use of which could include, within an email signature, on your organisation’s website or included on a business card.
  • A membership pack, containing more information on the programme and hard copies of our major publications, including the Leadership Qualities Framework. (Extra copies available on request)
  • An online toolkit to benchmark your Leadership capacity against the Leadership Qualities Framework (LQF) using our self assessment toolkit. Available on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

By working with Registered Managers to build a nationwide programme which is designed to offer practical support, advice, access to best practice information, and to facilitate local, regional and national networking. It will also offer resources to enhance your professional practice.

We know that you work hard, and have to constantly juggle conflicting priorities. We know that most Registered Managers want to make a contribution to social care and love their jobs but they need, and want, more support and recognition.
