Lead to succeed

Created by the National Skills Academy for Social Care, Lead to Succeed is the first national training programme for care service managers.

Designed to develop the leadership and managerial behaviours of Operational Leaders working in any part of adult social care. The programme comprises a series of workshops, each of which helps develop a more strategic approach to the day-to-day management of the people and processes that drive the sector, and so improve the quality of care experienced by service users.

Training Provider 1

It looks at the first principles, practical strategies and successful behaviours within the context of 5 workshop topics;

  • Leading and Managing Cultural Development
  • Successful Behaviour for Managers and Leaders
  • Supervision and Appraisal
  • Leading and Managing the Process of Change
  • Leading and Managing the Inspection Process

This engaging and practical programme provides new and seasoned Operational Leaders with the behaviours and tools needed to tackle the issues they face every day. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other managers across the social care sector.

The programme is for:

Managers working in Social Care who may operate as a Registered Manager, Service Manager, Branch Manager or Deputy Manager.

Dates and fees:

We agree dates with Local Authorities, Training Partnerships and large organisations accross the UK. Often tailoring the programme to specific requirements and providing Action Learning Sets, coaching and an impact analysis.

The programme is delivered to a minimum of 15 participants at each locality and fees are from £89 + VAT per person per day.
