Surrey Care Association Ltd was set up in September 2005.

It is a non membership, not for profit organisation representing all providers (private, voluntary or charitable) based in the county of Surrey, from all sectors ie Care homes, domiciliary care agencies and supported living providers.

The main aims of SCA Ltd are to:

  • Represent the independent Adult Social Care sector views. 
  • Work towards sustaining the viability of Social Care providers in Surrey 
  • Facilitate engagement with the independent sector on key issues arising in Surrey e.g. changes in policies, tendering opportunities and influence developments. 
  • Communicate and inform care providers of key strategic, business and workforce issues 
  • Contribute to market development and transformation of services in line with new vision for social care. 
  • Promote workforce development and broker funding streams. 
  • Provide a network for care providers to work together in ways which are mutually beneficial and to promote these services. 
  • Act as voice of Independent care sector employers in Surrey and to contribute to regional and where appropriate national networks
