MacIntyre is a leading national charity providing a range of services for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities.

Highly respected and committed to setting standards and increasing choice, we provide learning, support and care for more than 1000 children and adults with learning disabilities, at over 120 MacIntyre services across the UK.

Our diverse range of services includes community based learning and education programes, registered care homes and supported living schemes, as well as residential special schools and a further education college.

Central to our way of working is the belief that interactions matter - that, whatever contact they have with MacIntyre, the one thing that means more than anything else to the people using our services is the way that we interact with them, every day and in all situations.

Through ‘Great Interactions’, our organisation-wide recruitment, training and development strategy, we are confident that the people who access our services are benefiting from being supported by staff who are more reflective about their practice and who understand what it really means to deliver personalised services centred on the individual.
