• Relevance The needs of a local authority, a small private care provider and an individual at the start of their career in social care are likely to be substantially different. Training providers and established professionals with significant career experience will want different things from membership too. But we will ensure membership is directly relevant to your organisation, your career and your working life.

• Consultation We will listen to all our members’ ideas and make sure we understand your needs. Every plan we have and action we take will be grounded in our shared aspirations for the sector.

• Partnership Membership will be a way to bring a diverse group together – through a shared vision, a shared commitment to best practice and improvement, and a willingness to meet together under the banner of Skills Academy membership.
