This new programme forms part of the suite of Skills Academy offers, as part of its role to transform leadership, management and commissioning across social care.

Senior leaders throughout the sector face daunting challenges.  The landscape is simultaneously more fractured, with services becoming increasingly complex; and more constrained, in the face of tightening resources.  The need to develop leadership skills and integrated solutions has never been more important.

Our new programme is designed to focus on specific issues facing social care leaders, bringing people together from across the sector to develop their practice, build networks across health, social care and allied sectors, and benefit individuals and organisations alike.

        Topics include:

        • The integration of health and social care
        • Funding and the future shape of social care
        • The role of service users and communities
        • The social care market, including managing the risk of business failure

The programme will run from May to November 2012. To find out more and register your interest, download the above flyer or contact leadership@nsasocialcare.co.uk
