        Our aim is for this programme to become the recognised route to excellent high-level leadership in the social care sector. It’s designed to be thought provoking and is tailored to your needs.

        Who the programme is for

         

        Employees who:

        • Aspire to be a senior care manager or director
        • Already have experience of managing or leading at a relatively senior level
        • Would like to run a care service or play a larger part in the delivery of high-quality care

        Learners attend three residential modules over three to four days at Ashridge one of the UK’s top business schools. These modules look at the:

        1. User community
        2. Organisation
        3. Wider social and political context

        The modules are spaced over five months, giving you time to apply what you have learnt before moving on. There is preparatory work before each module and some project work afterwards.

        Do you qualify?

        To take part, you must able to answer yes to the following:

        • Do you work in a social care setting?
        • Do you carry out a management role that impacts on service users with responsibility for others’ work and resources?
        • Do you want to make a bigger contribution to your organisation and shape the social care sector?
        • Are you committed to investing time and energy in a challenging programme?
        • Will your organisation actively support you in taking part in the programme?

        How much it costs

        Your fee includes all tuition, accommodation, refreshments, meals and programme materials.

        The full price is £4,950. Skills Academy members are entitled to a 20% discount.

        Where it takes place

        Ashridge Business school is in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
