      Job description

      United Response is a top 100 charity, supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs or physical disabilities across England and Wales.  Our income is currently around £64 million per annum and we employ approximately 3000 staff at more than 250 locations.


      HR Officer – Learning & Development is to work in partnership with Managers and the HR Department to provide flexible support and expert learning and development advice to local Services, Areas and Divisions. This role will support managers to identify and meet the learning and development requirements of staff.

      This role is a 5 month fixed term contract, full time hours, job share will be considered.

      The salary is £23,000 per annum.

      Job Requirements :

      • Demonstrable best practice learning and development expertise
      • Demonstrable experience of budget management and reporting on financial statistics
      • Demonstrable experience of designing and managing a training programme or event
      • Experience of producing written reports
      • Knowledge and understanding of NVQ/Diplomas/Apprenticeships and the processes
      • Experience of successful networking internally and externally
      • Demonstrable experience of managing external consultants and contracts
      • Preferable experience of working with e-learning and an LMS platform

      Demonstrable skills of facilitation or delivery of training
