Job description
This is a national role based at Milestone Place, 100 Bolton Road, Bradford, BD1 4DH. Contracted hours:37.5 per week.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work with other relevant
departments and external agencies to co-ordinate and enhance the overall
digital proposition and ensure a joined up approach.
You will manage and develop the Anchor website, increasing traffic, brand
awareness, sales of products and services and improving the customer
experience.
You will manage the agreed online marketing budget and manage the use of
digital channels in the delivery of business plans and Anchor's commercial
objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing the website to be a fully fit for purpose portal in line with our
sales and marketing strategy, wider IS strategy and the broader Anchor business
goals
- Manage the online marketing programmes and ensure integration with all other
offline marketing such as advertising and PR campaigns
- Manage the external agencies involved in the website development and campaign
development and execution
- Develop new and progressive online campaigns, technologies, channels and
online partnerships to help deliver against our business objectives.
- Develop robust ROI reporting on all digital activity including market analysis
and competitor benchmarking
- Drive cross-business digital understanding by working with other key
stakeholders and Anchor colleagues.
Job Requirements
You will have extensive
online marketing experience, with an excellent understanding of interactive
technologies and their potential usage in a consumer facing business
environment. This will include in depth technical knowledge and understanding
of relevant front and backend systems as well as tracking and reporting
technologies.
An excellent understanding of the full online marketing mix: PPC, affiliates,
SEO, partners, social media, e-mail and CRM is required, along with hands on
technical experience to include: multiple operating systems, databases, CMS's
as well as various technologies including: MOSS; .NET; SQL; CSS, Java, Flash
etc.
You will also need to be experienced in market analysis and competitor
benchmarking, financial analysis and budget planning.
You will have excellent people skills and the ability to communicate with
senior management and other Anchor colleagues across different areas of the
business.
