Review panel
We convene Review Panels to moderate all judgments from our team of reviewers to ensure consistent standards and to adjudicate if the reviewers’ recommendations.
Who sits on the panels?
The panel is made up of:
- The review panel chair
- A reviewer
- An employer
- Representatives from the National Skills Academy
When do the panels sit?
Review panels are held frequently at least every 2-3 months. To find out when the next panel is please contact the Skills Academy. How long does the process take
Recognition applications will take up to two weeks to review before submission to a review panel. Excellence Award applications may take up to eight weeks.
We reserve the right to hold extraordinary Review Panels or to cancel Panels where the volume of submissions is particularly high or low. In these circumstances we will keep you informed of progress.
