Commissioning Now: A new programme from the Skills Academy to help social care commissioners

As part of our work to transform leadership, management and commissioning across social care, the Skills Academy is developing resources to raise the level of commissioning skills in the sector and improve service delivery.

We have a new programme to help commissioners of social care services, at all levels – Commissioning Now.

Commissioning Now will be launched in Spring 2012.  The programme provides participants with a comprehensive guide to excellent commissioning in practice and how to attain it, based on guidance developed exclusively for the Academy by the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTI)
